Cardano (ADA) Launches EVM Feature: Will Be a Top Chain Next Month
• Sebastien Guillemot, the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Cardano’s EVM layer Milkomeda, has announced a new feature that will allow Cardano users to interact with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) contracts directly from any Cardano wallet.
• The feature is expected to make Cardano one of the largest EVM chains by user count and transactions and operations on these contracts are conducted using Cardano’s native cryptocurrency ADA.
• The feature also unlocks the possibility for Cardano users to participate in the Ethereum ecosystem without using or acquiring ETH and incentivizes users to use Cardano’s EVM sidechain.
