Day 14 - Paris & Enghien

We allowed ourselves to sleep a little later than usual today. Maybe it was all the walking. But we had more trouncing around the city to do today!

We strolled from our hotel down to the Hotel de Ville and then on to the Pompideau Center. Then we went back to the Champs de Elysee shopping district to pick up some gifts for those at home and our very fine hosts in Belgium. We took a leisurely lunch on a patio right on the sidewalk. And we dined on french onion soup and escargot as we watched the vast variety of people make their way to and fro.

Then, alas, it was time to move on. We dashed back to the hotel, packed our bags and jumped the Thalys back to Belgium for another fine evening with our friends in Enghien.
